Type in any language from your set. Every other translation arrives together—with gender, articles, register, and romanization where they matter.
one lookup
Look it up once. See it in every language you’re learning, uncover shared roots and patterns, save it to your wordbank, and make it stick.

one lookup
Reveal cognates, borrowings, shared roots, false friends, and genuinely unrelated words. Connections are shown only when you ask for them.
Germanic cousins, both tied to the idea of thought and gratitude.
Your lookup history builds itself. Save what matters to a searchable wordbank, then review it with spaced repetition across your languages.

How it works
Polygelato fits beside the courses, books, and conversations you already use. It catches the words that spark your curiosity and turns them into something reusable.
Pick the languages you speak and the ones you’re learning. Their colours stay consistent, so the set becomes familiar at a glance.
Enter a word, phrase, or—in Double Scoop—a full sentence. Results fill in together, without changing source and target menus.
Save a word in one tap. Search it later in any language, or let the study queue bring it back at the right time.

Good questions
No. It works alongside your courses, reading, and conversations. Polygelato is where the words you encounter become connected, saved, and reviewable.
The current catalogue has 19 languages across Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Devanagari, Thai, Hangul, Han, and Japanese scripts. Scoop lets you keep 5 in your active set; Double Scoop raises that to 12.
Only a request that needs a new model call uses your monthly allowance. If Polygelato can answer from its shared cache, the repeat is instant, free, and unmetered.
No. All four study modes are included on every plan. Running out of lookups or moving back to Scoop never blocks your saved words or your review queue.
They are AI-generated and can be wrong. Polygelato validates the response shape and marks low-confidence connection claims, but you should still verify anything consequential.
